The Homework 1 of Multimedia Computing Environment – Project of Video Applications

Project Goal:

        Write a project related to the audio applications. The developed software for the project is not limited, but the DirectX Audio, or WPF, etc. is recommended.

Further Details:

        The issue of the audio application can be decided up to you, such as

(a) The examples of XAudio2 Tutorials
    (1) XAudio2 BasicSound Sample: The Audio Player

    (2) XAudio2 BasicStream: The Audio Player

    (3) Audio2CustomAPO: Audio processing objects (APOs)

     (4) XAudio2Sound3D: Spatialized Audio Player

(b) The examples of WPF
    (1) MediaElement, MediaTimeline

    (2) Speech Synthesis, Speech Synthesis Markup Language

    (3) Speech Recognition, Speech Recognition Grammar Specification

Attention:

(a) The project report should include these remarks: development toolkit, the ideas, the problems you confront and how you solve them, and what you learned from the project.

(b) If you used the developed modules or programs from the personal or company websites without authorization, you have to cite the reference websites.

(c) Windows, Visual Studio .NET 2008~2012 development environment is strongly recommended for this project.
